The revolutionary Olegature saxophone ligature optimizes the connection between mouthpiece, reed, and instrument. It combines the rich, dark tone of a soft ligature with the power and projection of a metal ligature. The Olegature's eliminates the need to compromise tone for projection. wouldn’t use anything else!!!

In my opinion this is the best ligature available. The Olegature just makes every note sing-everything from a low B flat to a double high altissimo F sounds so much better. i play an un-lacquered cannonball alto with a Sigurd Rascher mouthpiece for classical and a cannonball 5 for jazz. On my classical setup this ligature allows me to have an almost bell-like sound quality: it is clear, yet dark and rich. For jazz everything is there: I love my husky vintage sound with the Olegature. The control and variance of vibrato you can have using this ligature is unbelievable and overtones and altissimo are free and easy. However, I would recommend the Olegature for more advanced players because it requires a higher level of control. Fantastic product!!!

    Excellent!

I tried differents ligature in the last 5 years and I was using the original Beechler ligature on my alto metal Beechler.Very nice ligature. Oleg is able to subsitute it! I love it!

    Great Ligature!

I had heard good things about this ligature from a friend, but when I was given one by a representative of WWBW at a conference, I tried it and I liked it. The ligature is just slightly stuffy and restrictive for my personal preference in jazz, but I love the feel of this ligature when I play symphonic music. It offers a warm, dark tone and has a really open feel. I have had problems with it slipping around a bit, but that’s only a minor issue. Overall a very good product!

Hi guys! Thanks so much for the fantastic work! Of coruse you can believe it has taken me a month since I have seen you to settle into my new horn. We have three more weeks out here thank goodness for redemption I never knew how hard I was having to work at compensating in both the low and high registers! Oh, btw, I’m not really the lead player in the section. Dan Smith is. Our producer tortures my other section mate William Moore and myself by having to cover some lead here and there by mere fact that the three of us are really covering four books. yes, that was my shameless plug for my seriously bad fellow trumpeters!Looking forward to seeing you all again next time in LA!Bob

Nice fix! I found one similar for a barerl that didn’t fit my clarinet properly. I used wax paper and adhered the wax paper to the cork and to itself with cork grease. No residue and so far it has stayed in place for weeks. Just an alternate idea to try.
